Paterson Healthcare provides workplace-related medical assessments to support employers and employees in meeting health and safety requirements. These services are conducted by independent doctors and are based on relevant occupational health standards and individual assessment.

Our Services Suit Your Needs

Spirometry

Paterson Healthcare provides spirometry testing to assess lung function where clinically indicated. The test may assist doctors in evaluating respiratory symptoms and monitoring certain respiratory conditions as part of a broader clinical assessment.

Substance Testing

Substance testing for drugs and alcohol may be provided where required for workplace, clinical, or other approved purposes. Testing is conducted in accordance with relevant guidelines, consent, and applicable policies.

Breath Alcohol Analysis

Breath alcohol analysis may be undertaken to assess alcohol levels for workplace or other approved assessments. Results are reviewed by the requesting clinician or employer in line with consent and reporting requirements.

Rapid Evaluation

Rapid assessments may be available to support time-sensitive workplace or administrative requirements. Assessments are conducted based on the specific purpose of the request and applicable occupational health standards.

Electrocardiogram (ECG) Services

ECG testing may be provided to record the electrical activity of the heart where clinically appropriate. Results are reviewed by a doctor and used to support further assessment or referral if required.

Musculoskeletal Evaluations

Musculoskeletal assessments may be undertaken to evaluate joint, muscle, or movement-related concerns. These assessments support clinical evaluation and may assist with advice, monitoring, or referral where appropriate.

  • Please identify at the time of appointment that you require a 'Pre-Employment Medical' or 'Insurance Medical' appointment.
  • Please note that Medicare does not cover the costs for pre-employment procedures, so these expenses will be out-of-pocket.
  • The total cost depends on the complexity of the required forms and the time involved.
