Patient-Centred Care

General Medicine

At Paterson Healthcare, our experienced general practitioners offer comprehensive medical care for people of all ages. We manage a wide range of health concerns with a focus on early diagnosis, long-term wellbeing, and personalised care. Our independent doctors take the time to understand your individual needs and provide tailored treatment plans with respect and attention. Whether you visit for a routine check-up or ongoing condition management, we prioritise continuity of care. Whenever possible, we keep your preferred doctor in your schedule.

If they are unavailable, we aim to arrange for you to see another GP at the practice as soon as possible. Patient health, comfort, and privacy are important considerations in our clinical approach.

Culturally Safe, Accessible Care

We identify and understand the key gaps in healthcare access and provision.

Our team provides culturally appropriate care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. We aim to enhance patients’ accessibility to healthcare services and strive to provide a positive patient experience. When booking an appointment, please indicate if you identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. Our front-desk team is available to assist you and accommodate your specific needs.

Closing the Gap Initiatives

We support ‘Closing the Gap’ initiatives and participate in programs designed to help reduce health care disparities. Our goal is to support improved health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients.

Our Approach to General Medicine
